P.E. Star Students for the Month of January 2016
I am excited to announce the recipients of the P.E. Star Students of the Month for the month of January. The following students have consistently demonstrated positive character traits of respect, good sportsmanship, & care to their classmates during P.E. class at New Holland E.S. For the students that were not chosen, please continue to strive for greatness in P.E. class. Each month of the 2016-2017 school year, two new recipients (one male & one female) from each grade level will be chosen to be the P.E. Star Students. Congratulations to the award winners!

“Oh The Places We Can Go” 6th Grade Trip to Alvernia University
On Saturday, January 30th, Ms. Sneath, the 6th Grade Teachers, and I visited the college campus of Alvernia University with twenty energetic 6th grade students & seven supportive parents from New Holland Elementary School. During our visit to Alvernia University, Alvernia gave us a tour of the college, some yummy cheese pizza from Mimmo’s Pizzeria, & tickets to the Alvernia Men’s Basketball home contest. We stayed the entire second half of the game to cheer on the Alvernia Crusaders to a nail-biting 72-64 victory over the Messiah Falcons. At the end of the game, the students gathered for a perfect group photo:
If you were unable to attend this first trip, the “Oh The Places We Can Go” College Campus Tour Experience will continue with our next trip scheduled at the beginning of April. Here is a schedule & some information to share with your family:
