Mrs. Esslinger

Hello everyone!

I’m Mrs. Esslinger and this will be my sixth year teaching here at New Holland Elementary.  I taught 2nd grade for three years and this will be my third year teaching first grade.  I live in Mount Joy with my husband Paul, our 15 month old daughter Cadence, our dog Sally, and two cats Pita and Henri.

I was very busy this summer taking three graduate courses for my Master’s Degree.  I also become a Google Certified Educator and a Seesaw Ambassador this summer.  I also spent some time working on our classroom and reorganizing and rearranging things.  I can’t wait to show you what it looks like soon.

Cadence and I went on a lot of adventures this summer.  We had swimming lessons at the Lititz Rec Center, went to lots of playgrounds in Lancaster County and even did some Stroller Strides exercise classes together! Cadence also experienced her first visit to a zoo in July.  We went to the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, D.C.  I think her favorite animals were the gorillas because she kept making a monkey noise at them.  Cadence started walking and running this summer so we have been very active.

I am so excited to start a new school year with you.  I’ve been thinking of so many great new ideas to make our learning fun this year.  I hope you are as excited as I am to start the year!

See you soon!
