My Favorite Thanksgiving Food!

At Thanksgiving, there are a lot of different foods. I like everything at Thanksgiving, so it’s hard to choose. But, I think my favorite Thanksgiving food is stuffing. I actually used to hate stuffing, I thought it tasted gross. But now, I think stuffing is really good. So, stuffing is my favorite. Also, at Thanksgiving, there are a lot of different desserts. I know a lot of people make different homemade desserts on Thanksgiving, but we usually just get different pies. This year, we had pumpkin pie, apple pie, lemon meringue, and Hershey’s chocolate cake. Out of all of them, my favorite was the apple pie. Up till when I was about 9, I hated pie. But this year my favorite dessert was the apple pie. . Image result for thanksgiving food

My Favorite Thanksgiving Tradition!

One of the traditions that we do every Thanksgiving is looking back at our family tree/family history. I like this because Thanksgiving is about family, so it’s nice to look back at our past family. Another reason I like it is because it’s interesting to see where our family traces back to. Another reason is I like seeing the old pictures of past relatives, and what they looked like. Finally, the last reason I like this tradition is it gives our family a chance to bond and talk about our family. This is a tradition that my family does every Thanksgiving, and why I like it.

Special Guest at Thanksgiving!

If you could invite any special guest, alive or dead, over for Thanksgiving, who would it be? If I could invite anyone over for Thanksgiving, I would invite Mariah Carey. She has been an idol of mine, and I love her music. I would talk to her about her career, and how life is as a famous singer. One question I would ask her is, when did you become interested in singing? Another question would be, do you enjoy being recognized in public and having attention? One last question would be what is your favorite song of yours? This is who I would invite over for Thanksgiving if I could invite anyone, what I would talk to her about, and the questions I would ask her.

Thanksgiving Break!

Over the past 6 days, it was Thanksgiving/Fall break. Thanksgiving break started on Wednesday. On Wednesday, I invited a friend over to hangout. We played just dance and did drawing contests. On Thursday, was Thanksgiving! Around 4:00, our family came over. Everybody who came was my grandma, my grandpa, my great aunt Vicky, my cousin once removed Rachel, my 9-year old cousin Kaylie, and of course my mom dad and sister as always.

First, my sister and I hungout with Kaylie in the basement. Then, we ate dinner, which was really good and fun to catch up with family. Next, we ate dessert. Then my sister and I played just dance with her. Afterwards, everybody left and my mom and I were online shopping picking out a dress for a piano recital.

The next day on Friday, my family and I went to see a movie. We saw Wreck it Ralph 2/Ralph Breaks the Internet. On Saturday, we drove 2 hours up north to see my other grandparents. We had lunch at Red Robin, which was nice to talk with them. Later that evening at 7:00, I had a sleepover with 2 friends. First, we decorated Christmas cookies. They were little gingerbread man. Next, we made cards for a friend, (you’ll find out why later). Then, we played hide and seek and baked cupcakes.

On Sunday, we had to wake up at 6:00 to get ready. We left at 8:30 to see a friend get baptized, (that’s why we made the cards). Afterwards, we went to Starbucks, then we went home. When I got home, my family was decorating for Christmas. So, I helped set up a few things. Then, we put up the tree and decorated it. Finally, on Monday, I didn’t really do anything. I relaxed. And around 6:10, Sarah, my sister, and I went to Cavod. Sarah and I take acting class together, and my sister takes tap. We carpool, Sarah takes us there, and we take her back.

This is all I did over Thanksgiving/Fall break!

My Future Job!

When I get older, I want to be a vet. I want to be a vet because I love animals. However, you have to do a lot of schooling. Which I am ok with.

One quality I have is caring. Being a vet, you have to counsel clients about the deaths of their pets or about decisions for their pets. Caring can help with this because you have to talk to people about their situation and listen and care about their ideas. Another quality I have is I’m organized. When I become a vet, you have to plan or execute animal nutrition or reproduction programs. Being organized could help with this because when you have to plan or schedule these programs, you have to keep everything on track and organized. One last quality I have is hard-working. If you want to  become a vet, their are a lot of skills you need to be able to do. One that requires being hard-working is researching diseases to which animals could be susceptible. Being organized can help with this because researching takes a lot of time and work. These are the qualities I have that can contribute to the requirements of a vet.

There are certain types of vets. But overall, we have to examine them, give them checkups making sure they’re healthy, sometimes give them shots, help heal them depending on what happened, and even do things just like giving them a bath or clipping animals nails.

In this job, some challenges  could be getting them to hold still when doing procedures. I know this because when we take our animals to the vet for whatever reason, sometimes they squirm around. I know this is true for a lot of animals when going to the vet.

This is the job I want to have when I’m older, some qualities I have that could help me in this job, what someone with this job has to do/their responsibilities, and what challenges could occur with this job.

My Career!

When I get older, I’m not so sure what I want to be yet, but for the past few years I’ve been wanting to be a vet. A vet is a doctor that helps cure animals. Some of the responsibilities are giving animals shots, checking broken parts, doing regular check ups, assigning the correct medicine, identifying certain illnesses, and many other things.

The main reason I want this job is because I love animals! I think it’s important that you will enjoy the job you have when you get older. Being a vet would definitely be enjoyable for me. Even though being a vet does take a lot of schooling. I also have always found learning about animals fascinating, and how they function and live. This is the job I want to pursue when I get older, the responsibilities of this job, and why I want to have this job.
