Hello 5th Graders and Families!

My name is Meghan Clisham and I am looking forward to being your teacher this year! This will be a fun and exciting year!

Who is Miss Clisham?

This is my second year teaching 5th grade and I am looking forward to a great year! I graduated from Garden Spot and am a New Holland Elementary Alumni. I love teaching in my old elementary school as it has a special place in my heart. I graduated from Kutztown University in 2014 with my degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I returned to Kutztown University and am currently working towards my Masters in Elementary Education.

This summer I was able to visit my friends in Hawaii for a month! While I was there I learned to surf in the clear, warm water. My favorite part of my trip was being able to swim with dolphins as they are my favorite animal! I didn’t want to get out of the water to go home!

Another adventure I took this summer was going skydiving! On my way down I got to fall through the clouds which was very cool! At one time I got to control the parachute and made us spin in circles!

In my free time I am a coach for Girls on the Run. I enjoy reading a variety of books, spending time at the beach, and wandering the aisles of Target!
