First Day Jitters!

4th Grade Families,

I am blown away by how amazing today was! Your students came into school excited, nervous, and ready to learn. We had a busy schedule today learning about school rules, classroom expectations, and everyday procedures. I got to know your children a little bit and hopefully, they got to know me too! To continue this process, I did assign homework for you students tonight. Please check in with them to see the Artifact Bag assignment or see it below! (It’s fun and easy, I promise!)

You will find some papers in either your students Take Home folder, or the folder they brought from home, that you will need to review and return to school at your earliest convenience. Please do not hesitate to email me if you have any questions!

(p.s. I have all the student’s school IDs and will hand them out tomorrow!!!)

Tweet Tweet!

Dear 4th grade families,

I’ve created a twitter account for our classroom! If you are an avid twitter user, feel free to follow us here to see what we’re up to throughout the school year. I will post updates, photos, and other relevant information as often as possible.

Welcome Back!

Dear 4th Grade Families,

I am so excited to welcome you to my classroom this year! We have a pretty exciting and busy year ahead of us and I’m so excited to be here to help us each achieve great things. If you want to learn more about me, please click here to view my about me poster.

I plan on using this blog space throughout the year to keep families updated on what we are doing in the classroom each week. I will also use this blog to post reminders, important dates, and school events. I hope that this blog will help us to reduce paper waste and keep families better informed with their students everyday school life.

School starts Monday, August 28th! See you then!
