Economics

These past couple of weeks in my classroom we have been learning about economics. Since we are learning about economics we have a check book and if we go below $50.00 at the end of the quarter we will have extra homework. Doing this I learned how expensive it is to pay for bills. Also to save your money in case of a unexpected emergency. Here are a few of the words we learned were supply and demand, this means how much of the product they have and demand means how many people. Another word we learn were goods. Goods means are things that people want that satisfy their needs. The last two words are services and opportunity cost. Services is doing something for someone else, and we learned what opportunity cost is by having a sale on pencils 2 for $10, or 20 Hershey Kisses for $10. The students that didn’t buy anything got $60 dollars because the didn’t spend their money. When I grow up I will be a saver because I do not like spending my money. This is what I learned so far about economics.
