We also took our end of unit assessment.  In inquiry, we continued talking about economics. We discussed consumers vs. producers, supply and demand, and what a budget is. After break, we will continue talking about economics.

This week we have been talking about Economics. After talking about needs and wants, learners determined what they think our community needs over the holiday season. Over the next few weeks, we will continue talking about economics and how we can help our community members who are in need during the holidays. In reading, we are talking about information books again with a focus on how graphic representation in text can help readers learn more about a topic. Learners are also beginning to write informational books about an animal of their choosing.  In math, we are practicing addition and subtraction with 2 digit numbers. We will continue talking about the concepts of borrowing and regrouping.
