I’m chained to the floor

Reaching to everything I adore

But all the colors fade away

The minute I close the door

And the endless fight

Had started one night

And it didn’t go away

It’s still here, even during the day

And the yells and the screams

And the nightmares replacing dreams

And the blood that should flow red

Turns to black as I am dead

And I walk this road alone

Holding hands to someone in a different zone

And I notice we aren’t the same

Same place, different board game
