Do you think a woman will be President of the United States in the near future? Support your argument with examples.
I think that in 2020, the next presidential election, there will at least be a woman running for president. I very much hope that whatever woman runs for president will get elected. I hope that they would get elected because well, there has never been a woman president yet. I believe very much in gender equality for men and women. In the presidential election of 2016 Hillary Clinton was in running to be president. If she had gotten more electoral votes than Donald Trump then Hillary Clinton would have won the election. When I am allowed to vote in a presidential election if there is a woman that I believe would be the best president for the United States of America than I would vote for her. I wouldn’t just vote for her because she is a woman, I would vote for her because she would be the best option for our country. If there was a man who was running for president that was better than the woman who was running, and he was a better choice then I would vote for him. I believe that there will be a woman president soon, because 2017 has been such a big year for gender equality. There have been many breakthroughs on it compared to previous years.
