Chapter 1

I have heard of many different types of baseball teams. They all seem to be pretty good teams to me. But there is only one team that I like the most, PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES. The reason I like the Phillies is because I have seen there games and they are very good at playing baseball. The other reason that I like the Phillies is because my whole family likes them.

I have never been to one of their games in person, but I have seen them on TV. I really like when they win because then my family likes to do something fun for the night. Sometimes we go out to dinner, watch a movie, or sometimes we go some place really cool.

Some day I wish to go to one of their games in person. That probably will not happen until I am older. If I do go some day I hope they would win. It would awesome if they win because I could choose what we would do that night. Whatever I would choose would definitely be fun. The thing that would not be cool if I went to a Phillies game, would be if it rained and they had to cancel the game. That would stink.

If I liked any other baseball team my Mom would probably not let me do whatever they are doing if the team won, I would not be in the fun thing that they would be doing. That would definitely not be fun for me. Even if it was something that I do not like to do, it would still not be fun not to do it. I do not think my Mom would trust me to stay at home alone though.

If I go to a game I would be there early to get the best seat in the stadium. Then I would be able to see the game perfectly. Then I would have my family save my spot while I get something to eat before the game starts.

When the game would start I would just sit down and watch. Then whenever the got a home run I would cheer for them. And then if they won the game I would stand where they go out at and I would say “That was a AWESOME game”. Then when they were all gone I would leave too.

Some day, if I like the Phillies enough, I might join the team. I think I would be very good at baseball. It would super duper fun if I was on the team and we won almost all the games. If that happened, at the end of the season I would go on a long vacation with my family. Who knows where we would go.

I will always love the Philadelphia Phillies for my whole life.
