About Mrs. E.

Me

This year is a year of MANY “firsts” for me.  I have taught first grade for 10 years, but now I am headed off to begin a new adventure!  This will be my first year teaching Kindergarten and teaching at New Holland Elementary!  Like many of my incoming Kindergartners, I’m nervous and very excited all at the same time!

In addition, I am sending my first child off to college this year, YIKES!  Parents, this means I can totally relate to all your mixed emotions of sending your baby off to school.  I am certain that this will be a great year for all of us as we partner together to “grow” your child.

Let me tell you a little bit about my education.  I received my undergraduate degree from Millersville University. I went on to receive my Master’s degree from Eastern Mennonite University.    I absolutely love teaching children!  Each year I am challenged to grow and change with new initiatives and better teaching practices.

When I am not at school, I am running around to sporting events and social events for my three children. During the school year I can usually be found at a soccer, football or lacrosse game.
I love animals and reading!  In our home we have 2 dogs, 2 cats, a fish pond and a guinea pig!  I like to read for fun and also to relax!

Each school year is so different and so precious.  I am so excited to share this one with all of you!
