During the week of Christmas we read many different versions of the Gingerbread Man, including Jan Brett’s Gingerbread Baby and Gingerbread Friends. After comparing stories, discussing the endings and characters in each story, we decided to decorate cookies!

We are learning how to show a number in many different ways. During this math unit, we also started an introduction to addition. The kids were so very proud of themselves and their learning!

Mrs. Peter’s class joined our class for a feast in the hall! Afterwards we played roll a turkey together and then watched a short movie about being grateful.
