First few days living with Monica, (Chapter 1-5)
So I just moved in with my mother Monica. She lives in an apartment in the city. Before I came to live with her after Grandma died she lived alone. She has a friend his name is Nathan. He doesn’t seem to like me or he thinks I’m strange. But a lot of people don’t like me and think I’m strange. I overheard them that night talking about me. They were talking about how odd I was. The next day I went out into the hallway where I met Mis M for the first time. I was able to talk to her about the powers I had and the problem I had. Mis M took me swimming with her.
The discovery (Chapter 5-10)
It’s been a few days and my mom got a letter. It was from an old friend. When I looked at it was saying something about her daughter being odd. I had thought there were actually other kids like me. Other kids with silver eyes and that had powers. So I went through my mother’s room and found the names of her old friends. I spent most of the next couple of days calling people with that name. I was able to get a hold of one of the boys. His name was Dale Casey. I got his address and I planned to meet him but i don’t know when because i didn’t want to tell Monica. I went to Mis M and she showed me how I could get to meet him.
The other children(Chapters 10-14)
I went to see him but people were looking for me. So it was hard to talk with him. We went to the park. I talked to him about everything. We tried to find the other 2 kids. I think I saw one of the boys ,Eric VanAllsburg, at the park but I wasn’t sure. Dale was able to send him a mental massage. Eric met up with us at the park. I was right, he was the guy I saw before. We caught Eric up to speed. We ended up going back to my apartment building. When we got there there was a car in the parking lot. We saw a girl get out. I saw her eyes, they were also silver. Dale sent her a mental message too. She got it and came to us. Her name was Kerri Lamont. We filled her in and we all descended. It was best to go inside. We went into the house and saw everyone. They were all very worried. The adults clarified everything. They were thinking about sending them to a school for people like her but nothing was final. But in the end we all became friends. We all knew we all would get threw this together.
