Do you believe that it is a good idea to lengthen the school day? I believe that it is not a good idea to lengthen the school day.
One reason why I believe that it is not a good idea is that some kids do activities after school. When school goes on for one more hour kids won’t be able to do the things that they love to do because of school.
Another reason why I think that it is not a good idea because kids will have less time to do their homework after school. When school has one more hour to their day the kids will have one less hour to do their homework and that is not good because if they have one less hour then they might not get their homework done in time for school. When that happens the teacher will get mad at them and the kids might get a punishment and know one wants that.
My last reason why I believe that it is not a good idea is that the kids will get less time to be with their family. When a kid has less time with their family the might forget who they are meant to be with because the are tied in a not of school work and just plane old school. That is not good because they won’t get have a good time in their life because their mind is always on school and not on family time or other things that they love to do. Also when that happens the kids won’t be themselves they will be someone that only cares about their school work. Then the parents of that kid will get concerned about their child. Also the kids won’t have friends to be with because of school. They won’t have fun and games they will only care about school.
There are so many reasons why having one more hour the day is bad. I can’t tell you all but I hope that the three that I gave you will tell you that your life does not need to wrap around school. I also hope that people will realise that this idea can have a great impacted on families that care about their children. I hope that I changed the mind of the people that think that this is a good idea because it is not. Who knows what our world will become.
In conclusion having one more hour to the school is a bad idea. I hope that this will change a lot of people’s mind.
