We took 2 flights the first one was from Philadelphia to Frankfurt. Then when we landed in Frankfurt we took another plane to Amsterdam and there we picked up our suit cases. The next day….      We went into town and went to a couple of different stores, then went back to my Opa and Oma’s house. That’s grandma and grandpa in Dutch. The next couple of days we would go into town walk around get a couple of things and see my cousins!!!

On Christmas Eve we just had a normal day. On Christmas Day we opened our presents and played with then and ate some treats like chocolate spread and sprinkles, peanut butter and sprinkles, and candy!!  That night we watched home alone one. In Holland they have second Christmas whitch is on the 26th. So on the 26th we went to my uncles house! Then we took a walk with them to a place close by that had a maze and we went to the maze, and made it to the tower.

Then went back played a game called now you have it now you don’t, we each ended up with 2 presents each!!!    After that we had to quietly go to my opa and Oma’s house because my opa could hardly breath because his is allergic to cats an they have cats at the house. That night we had a special dinner it’s called gourmet, it’s a Dutch tordition. The gourmet is were you have a bunch of raw meat and you choose witch meat you want to eat and you grill it on one of those table grills by your self!!!!

WHAT I’M THANKFUL FOR!!

Thanksgiving reminds me of all the things I’m thankful for. I appreciate my family, my teacher, and my friends.

I’m especially thankful for my family because they are they are always there for me when I need them. The second reason why I’m thankful for this is because they are very kind to me and treat me very well. My last reason is because they are very caring and help me through hard times.

I also appreciate my teacher because I can trust him to take care of things when I ask him to. My second reason is because he will help me understand something if I don’t understand it. My last reason is because he teaches me things that will help me in life and in school.

Finally I’m grateful for my friends because they help me through hard times and are always there for me. My second reason is because they are very kind to me. Sometimes we get in fights but we always make up. My last reason is because they care for me very much.

As I enjoy this holiday season, I realize that I have many reasons to be thankful for. My family, my teacher, and evan my friends are very important to me.
