What My Name Means

My grandma thinks my name means

“the one who always steals candy from the cubart.”

My cousin thinks my name means

“The one who tells me anything no matter what” and

“One who always plays music with me.”

My brother thinks my name means

“helper with pranks and tricks.”

My best friend thinks my name means

“one who always hangs out with me.”

The coach thinks my name means

“very fast as I run around the field.”

My youth group leader thinks my name means

“girl with a purpose” and “has lots of friends.”

The dentist thinks my name means

“kid who never has cavities”.

The preschool teachers think my name means

“Benji’s sister”.

I think

there’s some things they left out, like

“Wanting to travel the world” and “likes listening to music” and “loves playing sports”.

Also the things I care about like,

“My relationship with my sister” and “convincing my parents to let me have a pet.”

Dear Alethea 10:40 am- 11:30 am 6-6-2018

My recent school year was great. In class we did a bunch of cool stuff, like VR ( virtual reality ), basketball, and other cool stuff. My teacher was r. Arena, he was a really fun and cool teacher. The thing I liked the most out of the whole year was the VR trips. We took a bunch, it was really fun. I also liked the the basketball hoop challenge.

I want to go to the garden spot high school were all my friends might go. I want to be a track and field runner and maybe a volleyball player for the high school.

I would like to be an Interior designer, and I might go to millersville university. I would like to own my own business or maybe work for someone else. I really like sports but, I think I don’t want to be a sports star. I would see myself designing a house on my first day of work.

For my first car I would probably get a subaru. I would like to travel all over the world. I would like to get married and have kids in my future. I would like to live in Florida or California.

If I could change the world I would change global warming. My advice for my future self is be kind and chill, make sure every moment is great.

I see….

Large clouds of smoke. Large forests with huge trees. Humongous and tall stone houses. I see super large terraces.The Urubamba river. Humongous mountains. Huge smooth stones. Large bushes of vegetation. Black lines that separating each and every plant. Humongous hills.

What do you THINK?

Wow that must have taken years and years to build.

What do you WONDER?

(During your expedition what are you wondering about? What questions come to your mind?)

I wonder what the people who lived there eat and grow. I wonder how they built it? I wonder How long it took them to build Machu Picchu?

In the expedition you can see the Urubamba river, and in the text it talks about how the river give them water. In the expedition you can see the perfectly cut stone, and in the text it talks about how you can’t even put a razor blade through them. In the expedition we saw the huge terraces and in the text it talks about how they grew their crops on them.

The eedition helped me better understand what Machu Picchu looks like. The expedition also helped me better understand Machu Picchu’s civilization.

That water is so dark I can’t see through it.

In the expedition people were canoeing, and in the text people were canoeing. In the expedition there were dense forests and in the text there were dense forests. In the expedition there were trees that were growing up through the water, and in the text there were trees growing through the water. In the expedition there was murky water that was so murky you couldn’t see through it, and in the text there was murky that you couldn’t see through it.

Seeing the super murky water in the expedition, helped me better understand why the pink dolphin is so hard to find.

Trip to Holland week 2

The first day of this week we went into town, but this time we went to a store were there was candy on every wall!!! A couple days after we went into town and bout some fireworks and food for New Years!! On New Year’s Eve we wen to this place were there was a humungas inside playground!!! You could get snacks,candy, and slushies! They also have a little wooden house that had a tv and you could watch stuff on it!!

After we left we went and saw my uncles working office and he gave us a couple of presents!!! On New Years Day we crapes for breakfast and some fruit for lunch!! That evening my cousins came over and played some games with us!! Then we did the count down and when it was 12:00 we all said HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Then ran outside to watch fireworks!!!

A couple days after… We went to the market and ate some fries, chicken nuggets, and drank hot chocolate!! Also we got these huge stroopwafels and did some shopping!! The next day…. I made waffles for breakfast and my moms friends came over to visit!!! A couple days later we packed our bags and left for the airport!! We or on our way home!!
