On Saturday, June 27th, we boarded a plane to begin our long journey back to the US.  It was bittersweet. We were sad to see our time in Vietnam come to end, but excited to see our families.  On our final night in Vietnam we had a farewell dinner on a boat cruise on the Saigon River. It was a special time with Chi, our Vietnamese guide, and with each other.

We all made it home safe and sound and want to thank everyone who supported us on this journey – for your financial support, for encouraging words along the way, and your interest in our journey.  There is a lot of information and experiences to process, but we look forward to sharing in person in the near future!
