I think it would have been very difficult to be the first president. Back then we didn’t have all the technology we have now. Being president you make so many phone calls and print so many papers and documents. But back then they couldn’t make phone calls they most likely would of had to send letters which takes time to get back and forth so I am sure it was very difficult to do. Also presidents print so many documents which back then would have been hard to do. They didn’t have good printers like we have nowadays. They might have had their own way of printing documents but I am sure the process was much harder than it is now.

I’m not sure what I think would have been more difficult though. I feel like back then there wasn’t as much conflict with the presidents as there is now. Now many people don’t agree with a lot of the president’s decisions which causes the world so much conflict and then there are so many different opinions. Back then I know there was conflict but I do not think it is as bad as it is now. Back then I think the conflict was solved easier and I don’t think the conflict was as strong as it is now. I think now we have way more opinions then we did back then. Also they did not have technology so the conflict didn’t spread as much. But now we have phones, laptops, and so much more where people spread their opinions and start more conflict. But then again there was more wars happening back then, from nowadays. Now we have spreading conflicts but they kind of just get ignored, and back then they started wars from different conflicts. I think either way being a president now or a long time ago they would have both been very difficult!

The Wright Brothers Memorial

Do you like to see breathtaking airplanes and cool inventions,  plus get out of your regular old routine. Well then this would be the perfect place for you. You could see astonishing airplanes from the 1900’s.  The coolest, oldest bicycle and cool flying machines. There is tons more, but just to much for us to tell you so experience it yourself at north carolina.  

The Wright Brothers Memorial is a good space for learning the history about the first airplane, what the wright brothers invented, and how they were made. There is a huge monument on the top of a hill that you have to walk up to. There is also a building with  history of all the types of things that the brothers invented. Behind the hill is an airplane that you can climb into which is on sand and behind the plane are statues which are cool to see. There is plenty more but, if you want to see the rest you’ll have to visit the amazing memorial yourself.

If you like the outdoors, running up and around  on an open field while learning this would be a great place for you simply because you can run in the open field while walking around and enjoying the historical  monument. If you also enjoy historical airplanes while in a conditioned room then the indoor visitor center would be just perfect for you. You get to see breath taking airplanes enjoying a nice breeze.  One critique we have about the Wright Brothers Memorial is that there are no hands on activities. You can simply walk around seeing amazing sights and learn. You can look at some things through glass cases, while others are out.

There are no hands on activities but the Wright Brothers Memorial is great for running around and enjoying everything, especially the giant monument. This is an amazing place to go, but to get the full version you will have to visit it yourself!

Tomorrow is an important day for most people. But not for me. It’s THANKSGIVING. I think i hate it because…well…. I’M A TURKEY!! I haven’t even found somewhere to hide. They are going to see me in no time. Ok…Ok What do I do! So, I’m just going to go into that pile of leaves and hide for now.

OWWWW! I was found! I have to do something, I don’t know what to do. I’m just going to talk to him. I can do this. “Ummm, Hi”.  “YOU CAN TALK”, Screamed the mysterious man! Yea, can we talk about this situation i’m in. Well No, you’re A TURKEY for goodness sake. “I know But I’m not that different from you”. “ Alright fine you got a minute”, Said The man firmly. I need longer than a minute obviously. “I’m just saying that so you stop getting off track just Talk”, The man said. Alright..Alright. So i’m not that different from you as you can see. I might look different but i still have feelings and family. All the stuff you have. It all matters to me as much as that stuff matters to you. “Well i guess you do have a point”, He said. But i also get hungry so i still need you. Here i’ll make a deal with you strange man. I will help you find food because there is such good food other than me. Alright I think that would work, He said a little annoyed.

So we went on a walk and found so much food. By then we found enough for a whole feast. So we made a pretty good deal in the end. They stopped eating turkey and ate something else. But next year is still to come. “ I Better get a hiding spot ahead of time this year”!

I had an awesome christmas break. Other than on Christmas Day, December 26 was awesome for my family. We got our first dog! We had been planning on getting a dog for a long time. But there has always been some problems. My older brother was allergic to dogs. He slowly was around dogs and now he is not. Now my little brother is allergic! Although he is still allergic it is way better than ever. So he takes allergy medicine and he is soon leaning off of it like my older brother.

It all started at 4:00 P.M I was down stairs with my family when she got a call to see dogs at the shelter. So we set the appointment at 5 o’clock. Me, My older sister, and my oldest brother stayed home curious about whether we would rescue one of the dogs. We waited, waited, and waited. Until I heard my phone make a noise. So I jumped up and looked. It was my dad Showing me pictures of our new dog in the car. Me and my sister jumped up and got so excited! We even Screamed! So we laid out his dog bed and sat on the couch for about an hour waited until they got home from getting dog supplies. Then we heard the door open. We ran, just to find out it was my sister! But the right behind them was my family with our new dog. We are so HAPPY! We named him Bentley. He is 8 months old and is a lab and we think husky mix. We still have to get him tested to see if his other breed mix is a husky. But we are pretty sure. He was very quiet and doesn’t bark, He is so gentle.

So it was the next day and everything was fine he was still gentle and quiet. Then on December 28 he started barking and warmed up, he is although still very gently. That morning he also was sick and was throwing up and coughing. So we took him to the vet and he has a cold and eye infections. So we continue to give him medicine. Then the next day we were home alone again and we taught him to run up and down the stairs and he loves to do it.

Everything has been going very well. He is still sick and we feel bad but he should get better soon. I had an awesome break this year. How was your break?

What makes you happy? Well here are some things that make me happy.

1.  Being with my best friend sarah.
2. Doing arts and crafts.
3. Being with my family.
4. Going shopping.

The first thing that makes me happy is being with my best friend sarah. This makes me happy because we always get along and we always do what each other want to do. Also we have a lot in common so it makes it easier for us to do the same things.We always make jokes and it is just fun to be around her.

Also doing arts and crafts makes me happy. That makes me happy one, because I like being creative and making my own crafts. Also doing other people’s arts and crafts and seeing how my version turns out. Lastly, when I make mistakes it shows me what to do better next time.

Being with my family is also something that makes me happy.  One thing I do with my family is watch movies some nights which is fun to do. Also when we have thanksgiving some members of my family come over and we eat and watch tv. Lastly, since there is a big family there is usually lots of presents that go around and lots of people I get to see.

Going shopping is also fun to do. When I go shopping with friends and family it is fun because I always go walk around the store with my friend or like me sister or mom. Also I get to remind them of what they forgot. That is sometimes fun cause then we have to go around the store again and sometimes that helps us find more of what we need. Lastly, it’s always fun when people buy you things. Sometimes if only me and my mom are walking around alone then she will get me things because we aren’t with all of my siblings. So those were things in my life that make me happy! What are yours?

What can you and your friends do for World Peace day to make the world a better place? Well here are some things me and my friends can do to make our school a better place. We could put up some posters around the school with positive things on them and put words like be open to making new friends and believe in yourself. This would create a more positive environment because there would be positive things around you that can make you feel better. Also we can do things like sitting at different lunch tables and that will show more people to start making new friends and be nice to everyone. Lastly, we can go around the school into all the classrooms and make a speech about being positive and being respectful, positive, friendly, and true to making new friends. Soon people will start to notice good things being spread around and they will do it to.

If I could give someone in my life a gift it would be my mom. I would get her a Pandora Bracelet. I would get her this because my mom loves Pandora bracelets and used to have one. But when we moved it got lost. My mom used to wear her bracelet everyday. So If I could get her something it would be a Pandora bracelet. I would get her charms with turtles and beach things. Also With the color teal. I think if i got my mom this she would love it. What would you get the special person in your life?

Election Day is the First Tuesday of November. Here are the 5 most important traits you would need to have to be elected. 1 being most important. 5 being least important.

Here’s why these traits are important to have. Being flexible to changes is very important. You need to be very flexible because things don’t usually stay the same and if you’re not flexible and you want something to stay the same it’s not going to go your way. Being flexible is very important so hold onto that trait.

Having integrity is also important. Sometimes you have to fight for what you think should happen. If you don’t have integrity then something you don’t want to happen will happen if you don’t hold your ground and stick to what you think. Integrity is very important so make sure you can definitely have integrity.

Also you need be responsible. You need to be responsible because you have lots of paperwork to do and if you are doing what you aren’t supposed to do then nothing will get done. Also you need to take people seriously when they are trying to tell you something important. You have to really be responsible to be a leader.

You have to be very patient in being a leader. Sometimes things don’t go your way but you have to be patient and just try to make things right. Also you will always have paperwork to do, so you have to be patient to get it all done. Lastly, you have to be patient even with others when they say something against you. You will have to be patient and talk to them and see what you can do.

Lastly, you have to be friendly to others. Being a leader you get looked up to. So if you are a rude leader everyone who looks up to you will stop looking up to you. Or the people will also become rude. Everyone should be nice to each other so being a leader be friendly so you can make everyone else friendly.

I have many important people in my life. Choosing five will be hard for me, What about you?  I would spend a day with my Mom, A day with my older sister Ally, A day with my little sister Ariella, A day with my best friend Sarah, and a day with One of my best friends Athena. There are many different reasons I would like to spend a day with each of these people. Keep reading to find out!

I have many reasons for spending the day with my mom, here’s why. I like spending the day alone with my Mom because when we have all my little siblings I don’t get to spend time with her. I like spending time with my mom also because I get to have a girls day and I like going shopping with her and we always get starbucks. The last reason is because I don’t get to see her when she is at work a lot. But sometimes I can spend the day with her and even go to work with her.

I would also spend a day with my older sister Ally for many reasons. Me and my sister have a lot in common so it is fun to be with her. When I spend my day with her we get to do gaming and make food while we stay home alone. I also always help her get ready and do her makeup with her. I love make jokes with her and love being with her overall.

I would spend a day with my little sister Ariella, Which may be surprising to you. One thing I like doing with her is going to the park. If you are wondering she is 3 years old. I like going to the park with her because we always do on the swings together and when she meets her “little friends” at the park it is funny to go along with them and listen and play with them. Lastly, she is really funny and a happy person to be around.

Another person I would spend my day with is my best friend, Sarah. Me and her have a lot in common. She is even left handed like me, which most people aren’t! Me and her spend a lot of time together and do a lot of the same things. She has a fake barn and horses that are very pretty, because we love horses. So we always ride them around. Sometimes I even go to her riding lessons and watch her ride. One thing that we like to do is get her little sisters bikes because they are so tiny and ride them around our neighborhood. Which is a lot of fun! Spending time with her is amazing and fun to do.

Lastly, I would spend a day with One of my best friends Athena. I would spend a day with her because we don’t get into arguments and we always agree on things. Secondly, We always joke around and have each others backs. Lastly, we have a lot in common and we can tell each other anything. These are all the people I would spend my days with and sometimes I do!

I can’t be positive but when i grow up I would like to be a teacher. I Would like to be a teacher from grades kindergarten to second grade. I chose this because I love working with small kids and helping them. Even being in school now I still love helping smaller kids. If I get this job It would be exciting, creative, and at times stressful. I love teaching kids and making them happy, Which is something I could do in this job. Overall, I think I have the right qualities for this job!
