So I’m going to be talking about the current book I’m reading. It’s called The Fourteenth GoldFish by Jennifer L. Holm. It’s about an 11 year old girl and her grandfather is a scientist who turned himself into a teenager again, and  they lived differently because of it. The book is very interesting, the grandfather had to go to school and act like a sixteen year old not a scientist and everything got crazy! I really recommend the book it’s really funny and I’m sure you would enjoy it. So this is the book I am currently reading hope some of you will read it and be satisfied.

This weekend me and my family did my room. We put up paintings that I made and hung them on the wall. Then my dad brought up my art table in my room to become a desk and I put all my art supplies away. On Saturday me and my dad went to Walmart to get a lamps for my room, there was a tall one then we got one that goes on my desk. So we set everything up and then at night we put up this sticker that goes on the wall, it looks like a flower. This weekend me and my family didn’t do much but we did finish my room!

This year I had a good break and I spended a lot of time with my family. I had a party at my Uncles and i got a new phone for Christmas! Me and my family went out to eat before New Years and walked around Lancaster looking at the lights. On Christmas Eve we all watched a movie and opened the presents at night (a.k.a midnight). On New Year’s Eve friends came over to celebrate! we watched the ball drop and around 12:30 I went to bed because I was tired but had a great time. Me and my family didn’t do much this year but it was still special to me, Happy New Year’s!

It’s almost Christmas and I only have one more week until break! This Christmas I will be going to my uncle‘s house. We will be celebrating all night. One thing we do is open presents at midnight on Christmas Eve or just a few. During Christmas break I don’t get many presents because my birthday is a few days after New Year’s Eve. On New Year’s Eve my family comes to my house and we usually party all night. Last year I stayed up until 5am and my cousin slept over. This Christmas will also be about God. At my church I am going to be in a play about Jesus birth. I am going to be one of the angels. We also get gifts at church and eat a nice meal. Finally we usually go out somewhere to see Christmas lights. We have many fun plans for Christmas and New Year.

On Friday December 2018 me and my grade are going to Penn State, I am looking forward to seeing what the building looks like and the size. I also am looking forward  what the classes look like inside too. I am thinking about going to Penn State it is a good college and it is near where I live so it is much easier. My grade and I will be looking around and taking a tour of the college. I am curious on what it will be like in the future.

My Thanksgiving weekend was really good, I got to see my family and have the Thanksgiving meal with them. The food was great my mom made sweet potato casserole and it was delicious! I made cheesecake with m & m’s, snickers, and reeses peanut butter cups. It was mt first time making it but it seemed like everyone enjoyed it so I guess I did a good job. The meal was awesome but when we finished me and my cousins played board games. We played Uno, Cranium, and guesstures. I had a lot of fun this Thanksgiving I can’t wait for the next one to come.

I want to first thank those who serve our country and have fought for our freedoms. Veterans Day is when people from the United States and other countries honor and remember those who fought in world war 1 and other wars. A special event happens in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia on November 11 at the unknown soldiers tomb to honor the soldiers who lost their lives in combat and who were not identified. It is important to keep remembering and honoring soldiers because it reminds us the importance of how we got our freedoms and continue to enjoy them. Thank you Veterans!

My weekend was actually very interesting. On Thursday I got my new bed but it was late so we didn’t set it up quite yet, So we did it on Friday and it did not take very long so of course I was excited. I got a full size bed and that means it is going to be bigger, So after we finished it looked great in my room I was so happy. But we didn’t have the mattress quite yet but we do have the blanket and the sheets so now we are waiting till it comes on Tuesday aka tomorrow. So then on Saturday it was more of a chill day so me, my mom, and my brother just stayed at home. Since I got a new bed I stayed there for a while watching Netflix. Then at a little after noon my mom started to cook and when she cooks she usually puts music on so I danced with my brother (who is 15 right now), his name is Jonathan which he can be funny but also annoying and  when we were dancing  he would do funny things like do a really weird dance move and try to act cool which he is still working on at the moment. So after my mom cooked we ate of course and it was good, after dinner me and my mom played uno which she won 4 times! I only won 3 but still it was fun. Then on Sunday we went to church and we usually leave at 9:30 then come home around 12:00  or 12:30. So after church we usually watch movies at home and spend time with the family. So this is basically what we did this weekend.
