Attention Students of my PM ELA class. Today the weekly assignments were handed out. These assignments include a Spelling Project, Reading Log sheet, and Vocabulary packet. All of these assignments are due next Thursday, September 3. Normally these assignments are due the following Friday. I know how busy many of you are and want to provide enough time to get the work done. Don’t forget, due to next week’s shortened week the spelling projects are worth 40 points for an A, 30 points for a B, and 20 points for a C. Normally these would each be 10 points more. Also, you only need to read 3 nights for 15 minutes, and you are allowed to skip one page in the vocabulary packet due to the shortened week. Normally it is 4 nights for 15 minutes each and all 4 pages in the vocabulary packet.
Parents: None of this work is required to be completed over the weekend. I know how important family time on the weekends is to you, and I don’t want to infringe on that time. I just want to provide the students with the greatest amount of time to get their work done around their busy out of school schedules.
