Fifth-Grade Winter Concert

Sixth Grade Honors Chorus

  • The Sixth Grade Honors Chorus is a select group of singers from Blue Ball, New Holland, and Brecknock schools. For students who enjoy singing and performing in a choral group, this is a wonderful opportunity to consider!
  • The Honors Chorus provides an enrichment choral experience with a varied repertoire (typically including a song of a multicultural nature, a song written in a classical style, and at least one song that also incorporates some simple choreography/movement). There is an emphasis on reading and singing music in two-part harmony.
  •  Rehearsals will be held after school on Tuesdays, from late January until the concert in May. It is important that all members plan to attend every rehearsal.  The Sixth Grade Honors Chorus roster of participants will be posted/announced by the end of November.
  •  The concert date for this group is scheduled for May of 2018.  Additionally, the Honors Chorus will be “touring” at the elementary buildings and presenting assemblies of their concert music also during the month of May of 2018.
