Serious Issues The World Is Facing
The world is facing some problems and we can help save it…
1. Lack Of Clean Water. Clean water amount is getting lower everyday, and lots of people waste it and use it for reasons they don’t need too. For example, people waste water by leaving the faucet on while brushing their teeth. When you leave it off you can save up to 4 gallons of water! Think about it, how much times a day do you use water and you really don’t need to use it? Everyone is guilty of wasting water, so it is time we start saving it. 2% of the world’s water is clean and out of that 2%, 1% is frozen. So… Make Sure You Save Water!
2. LandFills Getting Out Of Control! Lots of people throw a lot more trash than we need to. That means we are filling more and more landfills and are having to continue to buy a bunch a new land. When we throw out more than we need to, then it piles up and the people who work for the trash company have to buy US new land where they can but OUR trash. Also, a lot of the stuff could be recycled but people are too lazy to walk an extra 10 feet to put the stuff in the recycling bin. So Make sure to try to produce less trash!
3. Lots Of Air Pollution. Air pollution is a big problem. When you burn you produce air pollution. The smoke in the air is a gas called Carbon Dioxide. When you burn you put carbon in the air, and the air is filled with lots of it. In some cities the sky is brown, that is because of burning and when carbon dioxide takes over the sky there is no more oxygen in the sky, or only a little and it becomes harder to breathe. So don’t burn!
Too much trees getting cut down. These days, lots of people cut down trees for lots of reasons but the biggest is to make paper because they need more. The reason people are always cutting down trees is because people waste it when they don’t need to. If we continue this waste of paper, we won’t have anymore trees left on earth by 2040. I know that’s like 23 years aheaad but, that really isn’t that much longer if you think about it.
