Why Life on Land Matters!
Why does Life on Land matter?
Life on land matters because we need to keep trees and terrestrial animals alive. Forests cover nearly 31% of our planets area. The air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat-the forests help support and sustain us. Forests are home to more than 80% of all terrestrial species of animals, insects, and plants. Around 1.6 billion people depend on forests for their livelihood.
