Welcome!

Welcome to my Edublog! All of my students have been working hard so far this year in Third Grade. We also had many fun learning experiences throughout our curriculum. We made butter while learning about the food and fiber system in Science. We also heard a guest speaker talk to us about Agriculture. We got to share what we learned about Agriculture on our Ag Day field trip to Brubaker Park. We also learned about fire safety when the fire department came to our school to speak to us and we got to explore a fire truck. We continue to use and explore technology while practicing skills in Math and Language Arts on our laptops every day. Our programs such as ST Math and KidBiz 3000 challenge and engage our students while practicing Math, Reading, and Language Arts skills. My Language Arts class has written narratives about one of their happiest moments and published them on the computer. They also learned how to write letters and used that skill to write a letter to a special pen pal. My Math class continues to practice their fact fluency and learn new skills during small group centers and whole group activities.

Enjoy exploring my Edublog and find our daily schedule, specials schedule, and topics that are being taught in each subject area. You can also find websites under Bookmarks in the right side bar. Your child can use these at any time at home to practice skills taught in school.
