The Day of my Birthday Party!

“Today is May 29th,” I said. “My birthday is tomorrow,” I said. I went to bed the next night and it was so hard to fall asleep! (But later. I fell asleep.) The next day, I woke up and went down stairs and my mom and my sister set it up for me! I was so happy! They even put orange, white, and red sprinkles on my birthday syrup pancakes! The only thing I wasn’t happy about, I still had to go to school. After school on my birthday, I had all of my friends over. The people were, Levi, age 9, Daulton, age 11, Owen, age 12, Caleb age 9, Wyatt, age 11, Mitch, age 9, Caden, age 10, Seth, age 11, and myself, age 10. Since it was friday, they could have a sleepover at my house! Everybody came over at 4:25. We played basketball outside and stuff like that. After that, we had dinner and after dinner we went to skyzone. We mostly played dodgeball, but we also did basketball and also just bounced around. After that, we went back home and played video games and had snacks. Then, it was around 10:00 o’clock. We had to go to bed in about an hour. For the next hour, we played shipwreck. We made it up. So what you do is try to tackle and push everybody to fall to the ground. Whoever was the last person standing would win. The only thing was that their were people that were 11 and 12, and most of us were only 9 and 10. Even though I was one of the 10 year olds, I still won once out of the 12 times we played! Then it was time for bed, and we still stayed up till 2:00 o’clock because we were just talking the whole time. The next morning we had breakfast. “Everybody can stay till 1:00 o’clock because I asked your moms’ when they want to come pick you guys up,” my mom said. So, after breakfast, we played outside on our trampoline. (It was May 31st, so it was warm at 9:45 in the morning.) My trampoline is big, so all nine of us could be on it. On the trampoline we played don’t touch the balls, but we have one rule change… you can push each other onto the balls. Then we played some more video games and then it was time for lunch. “You guys are leaving in half an hour, and for the rest of the time, I want you guys to play outside,” my mom said. So for the rest of the time we played tackle tag. We made this up. If somebody tackles you, than your out. Whoever is standing last, wins. Once again, I won once. Then it was time for them to leave. I’m pretty sure everybody heard me say this, “Thanks for making this the best birthday of my life!”
