School is almost over and all library books are due back by Friday, May 29.  Please be sure you have everything returned by that date, but don’t stop reading!  You can still access eBooks in the school catalog over the summer and you can visit any public library in the area.

If you are interested in taking advantage of our eBooks, stop in the LMC before June 5 to pick up directions on how to do this.  You will be using your school user name and password to access them and you will be reading them online.

The public library system is also a wealth of wonderful treasures.  In addition to books, they have DVDs and audiobooks to check out and computers to use on site.  And the very best thing is that you are able to order books from any one of the many libraries in Lancaster County and have it delivered to the library that is most convenient for  you.

To get a public library card, if you are 14 – 17 years old, you will need to have a parent accompany you with an ID (driver’s license or other ID that shows name and address.)  If you are 18 or over, you may use your school ID to get a library card.  You may also need to present a piece of mail addressed to you as that will show your address.

And it is all FREE as long as you remember to return your books on or before the due date.  They don’t have a super-extended grace period like we do, but it is still a great deal!
