I am so sorry I am only posting the pictures from the field trip and our chicks now. I was having trouble uploading the pictures from my phone.

As I’m sure all of you know, we completed our life cycles unit last week by hatching chicks! We had 7 chicks hatch! The students were able to stay in from recess for a little to hold a chick as well as sit in a circle while some of the chicks walked around in the middle. They had so much fun holding the chicks and seeing them close up!

We had such a blast on our field trip to the Whitaker Center! Thank you so much to the chaperones that came on the trip. Enjoy some of our pictures from the trip!

Our End of Year Party is coming up on  Wednesday, June 1st. 

Here are a few reminders for that day.

• The students will not need to pack/buy lunch that day, lunch will be supplied for the students.
• The students worked very hard to plan our party, if you would like to come in to volunteer or supply any craft items, please go to this website to sign up-http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0a4fa5ae29a0fe3-endofyear.
• Tie-Dye- one of the crafts the students have planned is tie-dying t-shirts. Please send in a white shirt (it does not have to be new) labeled with your child’s name. If you cannot find a shirt, you may send in socks or another article of white clothing.
• If you are able to supply some of the lunch or refreshments for our party, we would greatly appreciate it. We still need the following:  (Updated 5/24)

Lunch:

1 -gallon iced tea           –container fruit salad

End of Day Refreshments:

-1-large container of chocolate ice cream                   -Ice cream sundae toppings- we have sprinkles J
