The Dimension (book 1)

Chapter one: Taken

I woke up one morning to hear my village being attacked. I ran outside to figure out I was too late, I tried even though. I used my sword slashing whacking the intruders with the bottom of my blade. Then I heard a faint voice “HELP!” it was my mother. I went to her as fast as I could, but I was too late, again. Then I saw him my worst enemy Deathgaze. His gaze enough could destroy somebody. Just then, I started to feel groggy, I fell down my vision fogging up, and was taken away.

Chapter two: The Dimension

I woke up felling all strange inside. I looked around and saw purple land, purple trees, purple grass, purple everything. I climbed one of the trees and made a small wooden shelter. Then, I went to scout out my bearings, as I was searching I saw something that looked between a bear and a rhinoceros, it charged at me and a scrambled up a tree. Then I realized I still had my sword. I pulled it out and killed the monster, then I ate it for dinner. After a while I went searching again this time a found the portal taking me here. I jumped in it and ran around silently to make sure I didn’t get caught on Deathgaze’s ship. I escaped safely.

Little did I know that I was being watched the entire time. he placed a tracker on me. He was watching me the entire time waiting for me to go home. “MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” he did his deep cackle.

As I got home my village was in really bad shape. I helped rebuild it the best of my ability. We lived happily until he returned.

p.152       The article states that was the first tiger salamander she saw, and she had a few dozen pet salamanders at her house.

That’s why Chief Brown suspect Mrs. King of stealing the salamander.

Alone: In Greenland

10 year old, Jason Grace gone 5 months in Greenland

Today was the day I go to see my father in Greenland. I board the plane and then we take off. Later, I noticed we were sinking quite quickly and decided to jump. I barely hit the water and swam to land.

There I saw lots of ice and decided to sharpen some of the ice. There was lots of seals nearby, so I threw the ice at them and hit one in the neck. I ran over to make sure it was dead. After that, I made a little igloo out of some ice. Then I went to bed.

I woke up to a deep “GGGGRRRRR” I looked outside and saw a mama bear with her cubs killing and eating seals. I hid  in my shelter until the growling stopped. Then, I looked outside saw something in the water.

It was shipwreck. It had wood, matches, and even a fishing pole. I went fishing and caught fish. Then, I cooked the fish and the seal from yesterday. After I ate I went to find the plane. Once, I found the plane I saw a radio and flicked the switch a few times. Soon enough, a rescue plane came and saved me.

The End.

Alexander Graham Bell

I think that Alexander became a great inventor because of his interests in different things.  His interest in the piano let him know more about the telegraph.  His interests in the piano also  helped him understand vibrations. The vibrations also helped him teach deaf people how to talk and write. That is why I think Alexander became a great inventor through his interests in everything.

Case of the Missing Car

Once, there was a family of four that bought a Cadillac. The first night they had it though it, it disappeared. One day they saw it the next they didn’t. Finally they hired detectives.                                                                                                    The detectives thought it disappeared out of thin air, but then realized it was the father was riding it away every other day. They told the mother and she sold the car, then she got divorced with the father after he realized she sold it. After that day the father was never seen again.

Mr. Elfie in East Earl

An elf showed up at my house one day, about a month ago. He said, “Hi, my name is Elfie.” “Hi, Elfie,” I said. “I’m lost here, and I need to get back to the North Pole before Christmas,” he said. I said “I’ll help you get home.” “Follow the snow it’s pointing toward the North Pole,” I said.

Elfie left right away following the snow all the way back home. He ran through Canada, to Greenland and beyond. He tagged on boats and planes. He rode on eagle, storks, and bears. He reached the North Pole the day before Christmas. He was exhausted, and felt like he would fall apart any second.

They asked, “where he went.” He said, I fell off the sleigh on Santa’s test run, I was lost in East Earl a little boy helped me get home.” “Well I am so glad you found your way home, Elfie,” He parents said. elfie lived the rest of his life in happiness with his parents.

Dots? or Stars?

If I lived a while ago I would call stars shiny, bright dots in the sky. Planets and asteroids would be pieces of rocks that shoot quickly up into the sky. If I see a shooting star I’d think it would be fire ball hurtling toward Earth, the Sun would be a flaming ball of heat.  Antimatter would be gas floating up in space.
