What do you THINK?

(As you are experiencing VR tell your audience in detail what you are thinking using sequence words. First, Next, Last)

I think that if I was an enemy trying to get into Machu Picchu.  Someone with a bow would’ve destroyed me before getting close to the Halfway point of the mountain.  And that the people  of Machu Picchu

What do you WONDER?

(During your expedition what are you wondering about? What questions come to your mind?)

I saw the large mountain sides that the main character had climbed.  And the trail they took.  And the city that they had stumbled upon.

How do you THINK the Expedition enhanced your understanding of the text?

(Be sure to use evidence from the text to support your response)

I definitely let me see the Machu Picchu from a new angle and I was able to get the visual that the text had enabled me to do.

What do you still WONDER after experiencing the Expedition and reading the text?

(Write a reflection to extend your thinking i.e. What are you still curious about? What more do you want to know?)

I wonder if the people of Machu Picchu had a constant struggle to have contact with the rest of the world.
