Logger’s and Farmer’s  point of view

Most people think that logging is something terrible disaster that should be stopped but it is logging is my job.  If someone decided that they like the trees then they have to find me a job .  So it will be easier if I just do my job but do something called sustainable logging.  Where we  only cut down the elder trees that have already dropped their seeds. And now just take water and sunlight from still have seeds to drop and stops the the ones that are trying to grow into a larger tree so they can drop seeds.

And if I were a farmer and I needed more land I could do 2 things.  Either take my axe and cut down trees for more land to grow more crops or I could do shade farming. What is shad farming you ask it is when we grow crops like coffee beans inside the forest so we don’t have to cut them we can go into the forest and plant our crops in the forest.  And still be able to grow the crops that we need to survive.

A final reason that Deforestation is not an issue kids should worry about.  My friend is a Farmer so he told me this.  “We can always plant more trees when we cut down a few we can plant the same amount that we cut down.  That way we do not have to worry about the amount of trees left on planet earth.  Or maybe we will plant twice as many as we cut down so we can repay for they amount that we have cut down”.  
I thought that that was a pretty neat idea to help the trees.  I could always do that as well.  I mean like planting twice as many trees as I cut down.  So it is kinda confusing on what we should do with the whole cutting down trees is an issue.  Because if they want to stop me they have to find me a new job as well.  But I think it would be easier if I just did my job.  And do what I told you.
