Although I really like being at school with my friends I can’t wait for summer. I am excited for the warm weather, beach days, and sunset/sunrise watching. I am most excited to go to the beach with my friends. We have plans to go mini golfing, walk the boardwalk, and swim at the beach. I am also excited to start pre-season for volleyball during the summer. We will have team camps, open gyms, etc.
Independent Novel Update
As we know I chose The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins. I started to read this book and was amazed at how different the point of view was from the previous books by Suzanne Collins. The book lead me to actually feel bad for President Snow. I can’t wait to finish the book and compare it to the previous The Hunger game novels.
Vocab
I really enjoy playing volleyball. I enjoy working with my team and getting to learn more about the sport. Sometimes we get a little frustrated with each other because every can be presumptuous. Although I can seem ornery sometimes I enjoy going to practice to work on our precision as a team. Sometimes we like to dillydally at practice but we also end a practice by giving all our effort.
Last weekend me and my friend Summer entered a beach volleyball tournament in Point Pleasant, NJ. The night before the tournament me and my friend Avery went to the beach early to have a fun day on the boardwalk. First when we got there we went to the beach for about two hours. Then we ate a whole cheese pizza. Then we finished the day by going to the aquarium and mini golfing. The next day was the tournament. We started off the day by placing first in out bracket. After that we made it to the championship and lost by three points. Overall, it was a good day because we did better then we did last year. (We lost in the semi-finals last year.)

We all know the end of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. If I was able to change the ending I would end it in a happy way. So Romeo and Juliet would get there happy ending. I would have Romeo get to Juliet just in time as she wakes up. Then they would both run away before Paris got to the chamber to give Juliet flowers. Then the book would end with the family looking for Juliet, which would lead to a second novel.
