On Wednesday, April 3rd, our Language Arts class had a visitor.  Mrs. Joyce Snader, a community member, read the article I wrote about our class’s recycling efforts in the “Elanco Extra.” She was so impressed by what our students were doing that she wrote me a letter.  I invited her to come and meet our class so she could share her passion of recycling with us. How exciting for our students to realize that people from the community were aware of the recycling we do each week!  Mrs. Snader shared some ideas with us on how to reuse items.  She also introduced us to some other community resources that your family might be interested in.

Art of Recycle– This business is located in Ephrata at 27 Coister Ave.  It is a “thrifty craft store” for you to visit to make items out of recycled objects.  They take donations! Visit their website at www.artofrecycle.org

Lancaster Creative Reuse– Located at 1865 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA.  This is a donation based art, craft, and sewing supply store.  Check them out at www.lancastercreativereuse.org
