Yesterday we celebrated Read Across America.  March 2nd is Dr. Seuss’s birthday.  To celebrate reading we had a special visitor. Blake, a Garden Spot High School student from the National Honor Society came to our classroom.  Blake read the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Afterwards each student got to glue shapes together to make their own caterpillar. The kids had fun with this activity.
