Throughout the school year, we will focus on different concepts of addition and subtraction strategies as well as problem solving and many other components of time and measurement. As we complete a Math Unit, I will post an overall study guide of the unit and strategies that we will use to solve the types of problems.
Unit 1: Place Value

Game/Activity to Do: Curious George Hide & Seek. A fun and interactive way to review basic numbers, how to spell the numbers, and identify the number of objects. Check it out for a basic review!
Game/Activity to Do: Place Value Hockey is another great tool to use to review place values of ones, tens, and hundreds. Make sure to select PLACE VALUE and LEVEL 1. After answering 5 questions correctly about place values, you get to take 5 “Slap Shots” at the goalie!
