Health Concepts: the ability to make good choices in what you eat and what you do so that your body and mind are in good conditions.

With knowing more about healthy concepts, such as the Food Pyramid and how many hours to exercise our body, will will be able to learn and focus better in our daily activities. In this unit, we will engage in fun activities that show how to make healthy choices for both our mind and body. We will experiment with different food types and will continually learn from gym class as well ways we can choose to be healthy. 

In this unit, we will focus on the following words that will help us understand health concepts: health, nutrition, Food Pyramid, exercise, heart rate. 

At the end of the unit, we will be able to:

1) Identify different ways that we can stay healthy and active in our lifestyle.
