This article that i’m going to explain is about two authors who have different opinions about recycling. The first guy wants us to reduce recycling, and the second guy wants us to recycle more. That is what this article is about.

The first author im going to talk about is the one who wants us to reduce recycling. One reason he wants us to reduce recycling is because it is cheaper to make new things. Another reason is that it waste energy because usually people rinse out whatever they are recycling out with hot water. The author also said,”it is more expensive to recycle old paper than to make new paper.” That is why he wants us to reduce recycling.

Now I will be telling you about the author that likes recycling. One reason I know the author likes it is because the author said,” no one argues that the cost of recycling is not important. However that is not a good enough reason to stop.” since 1960 the amount of trash tripled, but we have got better at handling it. He also thinks it will cut down on trash and pollution. This is why this author likes recycling.

Now I will be telling you my opinion on recycling. I think we should recycle because it reduces pollution. It doesn’t leave trash at landfills. Even though the first author said it is cheaper to make new things recycling still reduces pollution.That is my opinion on recycling.
