“This is your pilot speaking. I would like to assure you that we are going to Africa. If you don’t want to go, get off now,” boomed the speakers. I didn’t want to go to Africa, I thought this was the plane to Colombia. But it was too late to get off now. The plane was taking off already. Oh well. I guess I’ll try Africa.

Sometime later we finally arrived and I went to ask someone to help me find a place to stay. “Tsmia louk,” some African woman said. I had no idea what she was talking about so I asked an old man walking by. “Tsmia louk.” Why is everyone saying this? I didn’t know so I wrote on a paper, “Can you read this? If yes, please help me find a place to stay.”

I showed this sign to everyone, but they said, “Miase vow?” which was a question to me.

About Natasha’s Avatar

ChibiMaker

I created my avatar on chibimaker.org.  I created the avatar with long, curly, brown hair because this is how my hair usually looks.  She’s wearing a blue dress because I love to dress up and blue is my favorite color.  I accessorized her with a cross necklace which represents my faith.  My family always calls me “Princess” so I decided to put a crown on my avatar.  I also added a heart in the background because I am loving and I am loved.

What is Your Partner’s Favorite Memory?

Julia:Italics Natasha:Bold

Hey, what is your favorite memory? That is what I asked my friend first. Well her favorite memory was visiting her dad in Florida. Then, I asked Julia what was her favorite memory. She told me it was when she was in Ukraine. That was our favorite memory.

Well Natasha’s favorite memory was visiting her dad in Florida. The first question I asked her was, “Do you go there alone or with your family?” The answer was, “I usually go there with my grandfather when he visits his mom and sister in Florida.” The next question was, “What do you do at your Dad’s house?” The answer was, “I usually play with my little brother and sister and uncle, too.” The next question was, “From when you were there last what was your favorite part?” Her answer was, “My favorite part was seeing my family in Florida.” Well if you think this is boring then listen to this. Guess what her next question was? Well it was why did she enjoy it. Her answer was pretty good too. It was I enjoyed it because it was a year and a half since I saw my dad and when I finally did, I was super happy.. Some other questions that I asked were good but if you really want to know them go ahead and read on. Awesome if you are reading on But if you are not your fine. Well the next question was, “When was the last time you were there?” She answer was the last time I was there was January 15, 2016. Well later I asked her when are you going there again. She answered in the summer. The next question and answer was Would you ever go there again? Yes because I want to see him a lot. The last question was are you interested going back and living with him and she said, “No because I love my family and friends here and I would have to learn the things they do there.” Well that is the questions and answers read on and figure out what my favorite memory is!!
After I asked Julia what her favorite memory was (which was when she was in Ukraine), I asked how long ago it was. She answered, “It was in 2011/4 years ago.” She also said she was with her family like her parents and brothers and sisters when I asked who she was with. After, I asked if Julia enjoyed it and why and she said that she did because she saw her cousins and other relatives. “Why were you there?” was the next question I asked. Her answer to THAT was “I visited my grandma.” She looked at me happily. Then, I asked if she would ever go there again and she said “Yes because I want to see my baby cousins and their families.” My second to last question was, “When do you think you’re going back?” “I want to go there in the summer in August,” was the reply back. What was her favorite part, you may be asking. I already asked and got the answer of, “My favorite part was when my cousin’s friend became friends with me and started to call me nice names.” Thank you for reading my paragraph. Please, if you haven’t read the other paragraph for some reason, READ IT! It has my favorite memory.

What is the “Creative Academy” and how does Jake Semple end up going there? List all the members of the Applewhite family and explain what each of their talents or jobs is. Why does E.D. think she is different than the other Applewhites? What are they like? What is she like?

The “Creative Academy” is the homeschool at the Applewhite’s home. Jake ends up going there because his parents did something bad so they are in jail. He burned down his old middle school and know he got put in the Applewhites home school, but he also got put there after he got kicked out of the Traybridge Middle school. The Applewhites have a home of no smoking but Jake smokes. He wants to run away but he decided not to. That is how he got to the “Creative Academy”.

Wow! You want ME to explain the Applewhite’s family?! Well, the Aunt and Uncle of E.D. are Lucille and Archie. Cordelia is a dancer. Randolph is the father of E. D. Zedediah is the grandfather of E.D. Destiny is E.D.’s little brother. E.D. is a part of the Applewhites but she is technically the special one. Hal is the food steller and E.D.’s older brother. Sybil, although she doesn’t have the last name of Applewhite, she is the mother of the children. The dog is Winston. The parrot is Paulie. The goats are Hazel and Wolfbane.
E.D. thinks that she is different because when they had the interview they didn’t even ask for her name and what she is. She has to be partnered with Jake Semple and she doesn’t like him. The applewhites are very different. They have their own rules that E.D. hates and so does Jake. E.D. is different than the applewhites. She thinks that if she had a different life it would be better. She thinks that no one cares about her and they never ask her to do anything. She never sticks out on anyone. That is about the book Surviving the Applewhites.

“Ahhh! Eli is coming!” shrieked Baby Liza. She’s a baby fish. Hi! I’m Eli, the shark every fish is scared of because I’m the biggest hammerhead. I don’t understand, though. Why are they scared? I am a vegetarian, somehow. I mean, if they really got to know me, they would probably like me. All the meanness started when my sister ate a fish while eating coral, (it was tasty!) but then the mamma got angry because she saw it!

Imagine that you are an animal in the zoo. What type of animal are you? How do you feel about being caged? How do you feel about people that visit and watch you?

If we would be an animal, we would be a tiger. It is horrible to be in my domain because there is metal bars that cage me in. Also, I get watched every day. I also think that it is nice to be in my domain because I am protected from all those evil humans that killed my family. I hate being watched so I roar and bite at them but they’re too high to get after.

The reason my domain is horrible is because there is no room to roam around. Also you can’t go hunting because there is no Springbok to hunt or deer or even monkeys.
I feel weird when people walk by staring. I feel like they might do something bad to me. I am a tiger and some people hate that. They are the ones who took my family away from me. I also feel scared that someone will hurt me like they did to my family. I feel mad at being watched because they killed my family and locked me in my domain. I wish I had a friend or another tiger to play with.  Tiger profile and snowCreative Commons License Tambako The Jaguar via Compfight

So that’s how I feel about being caged and being watched. Being watched at is creepy and makes me mad. Being caged is like being trapped in a little box that you can’t get out. When people stare, is scares me because I feel like they can hurt me. And that’s why next time you go to the zoo look how the animals look at it not you.

“Watch out! Reese is chasing Olive again!” Uh-oh! I think. Hi! I’m Olive the cat. Sorry, I don’t have time to explain my life.

So, it was a nice summer day and I was eating my food until I finished. Then, I went to Reese the dog’s food bowl and ate some of her food. The only bad thing was was her watching me eat her food. That’s why she’s chasing me for the second time, I did it again.

I jump onto the table: she jumps on it too. I jump on a human: she does it too. It’s like there is no way to stop her! I wish I remembered how I stopped her the first time. I try more things: she does them too. She won’t stop chasing me! I wish I wasn’t so hungry and selfish. Maybe Reese will stop if she hears me out! Never mind. It’s just like saying to Tom, “Stop chasing Jerry!” I wish they weren’t stubborn on the TV, but that’s life sometimes.

What would life be like without a voting system?

What would life be like without a voting system? That is a great question. There may be many different opinions but this is ours. Without a voting system there would be chaos and the government would pick the people they only want. People would start revolting against the government. So we’ll tell you why we think that and give details.

It would be total chaos because people would have to go through things they don’t want to. They would have to have to follow laws that the people didn’t vote for. The laws could also be stupid laws like no ice cream every day. They would not get a say on new laws because the government picked the representatives for each state. Also the people would feel like the government would be like a king.

The government would only pick the people they want to because they would favor people. They would do that and then they would find out that the person they picked is horrible. Then when they get old and need to retire they pick people that will make horrible laws. There would be taxes on everything and there would be laws on all most every thing. There would also be fights and the people would revolt against the government. They would be like the colonies when they wanted freedom from England. They could also start a war but that wouldn’t happen. People might not be safe even on the roads! So that’s the few things that america would be like.

Hmmm. Let me think. Oh, yeah! Nothing would be protected and everyone would just pick the worst person when they think they are the best. The laws wouldn’t be right, the president, government, or anything else like that would be right for us most of the time and who knows, they could be mean or bad! America with be pretty much nothing without a voting system. Also it would kind of hard to figure out who won presidency because the people couldn’t vote.

Lost at Sea   Part 1

There once was a mermaid who loved to swim away from home, but one day she swam too far out to hear her parents call. She was also very, very lost. She was lost for over a month, and at that time the search gave up. Then, all of a sudden, a stranger came up to her and invited her to his house. She said no at first, but then thought about her situation and said, “You know what? Sure, whatever.”

Sometime soon he told her his name was Dr. Octo, but she thought something was weird, bad, SCARY about his house. He had a knife collection and scale collection on his walls. She also remembered the story Ma told her about the psycho octopus who hurts all mermaids. She thought it was fake, but this octopus seems to be the guy in the story

“Would you like some fish to eat?” he asked strangely.

“You know, I should really get going.” she said afraid. She really wishes she listened to Ma and Pa.
