This year we completed the Gobble Grams fundraiser once again. Small groups of students worked on making, selling, and delivering the small notes. Various students as well as teachers purchased them, leading to a very successful project.
This year National Honor Society had a face painting and drinks stand at Challenge of the Classes. Throughout the chilly day many students and faculty stopped by to get creative designs on their faces as well as buy drinks to quench their thirst.
This school year 17 new members were inducted into the organization. As a result of an excellent idea expressed by our deputy-officer Nate Myers, a park clean up was organized for a service project. A group of students congregated at Brubaker Park to clean up brush, rake, and clean up trash. Following the project, most people traveled to the football game for a night of fun.
The club recently teamed up with the district’s health council to participate in the their showing of Big Hero 6. For those who needed a little snack or drink, we provided popcorn as well as water, ice tea, and Gatorade. Thanks to everyone who came out for a great night of community fun!
