National Honor Society gives back to the school community by offering some of its members’ brain power and time. Members tutor one-on-one or one-on-many with students struggling in classes like, biology, any kind of math, Spanish, etc.

NHS has found its fundraising niche- a duck pond! At community and school events, like Community Game Night and Video Game Night, National Honor Society runs a duck pond fundraisers. Participants simply pick out a buoyant duck in our mini, toddler pool and win a prize based on the number.
In the second quarter of the school year, members wrote faculty members appreciation holiday cards as a special thank you gift.
Continuing an NHS tradition, members decorated Garden Spot’s halls with festive window clings and art before the holiday break!
In the fall semester, NHS compacted care packages that contained basic toiletries for underprivileged members in the community. NHS worked together with ELANCO Social Services Network, ESSN, to deliver the packages to community members in need. The packages contained essentials like, toothpaste, deodorant, body wash, etc.
