The Garden Spot High School Golf Team is open to all boys and girls in grades 9-12 who have a genuine interest in improving their skills, competing as a member of a team, and learning the rules of the great game of golf. Our home golf courses are Hawk Valley Golf Course and Honeybrook Golf Course where we hold our team practices and host our home Lancaster-Lebanon League match. Garden Spot plays in Section 2 of the L.L. League and competes in stroke play matches against other local schools, such as Warwick, Conestoga Valley, Solanco, Ephrata, and Elizabethtown.
The high school golf season is relatively short compared to most other sports lasting from mid-August to early October. During the school year, practices are usually held every day after school with 18-hole matches occurring once a week. The warm, summer months before the start of the season provide a great opportunity to practice and improve your golf game at the many local golf courses in the area.
