Miss. Franny was so scared of Winne-Dixie because when Winne-Dixie was standing up on his hind legs Miss. Franny thought that he was a BEAR !!!!! Miss. Franny was very scared because when she was little she was in her Library and a BEAR came in. I would be very scared too. Miss. Franny was acting all embarrassed because she mistakenly took a dog for a bear. I think that is kind of embarrassing.
Good job on writing on why Miss.Franny was scared of Winn-Dixie but you should add more on why she was acting embarrassed.

I think you should of put in the part where she was reading and the she said can i help you the she notices that its a bear and she threw her favorite book Johnny Tremain at it and he took it with him.
Not bad for a first. Let me say something else though.I think that you should add some more things on why was she acting all embarrassed. The why was she so scared was good but add more to why was she embarrassed.
