4 Weeks After Hatching
Chapter 2
Error sat in the corner his small dark wings cramped into the 90 degree slant he studied the walls of the castle hatchery they were made out of brightly colored sandstone and marble which were covered in small bits of gold he always thought the castle was so pretty sometimes he went on walks threw it when everyone was working or at an meeting.
He was suddenly snapped out of his thoughts when he saw Boulder walking towards him cooly with three other small hatchlings behind him he was the same age as him but was the meanest dragon he’d ever met. “What are you looking at nerd! Call yourself a prince i heard he wasn’t even born a price he looks like an pile of black dirt!” the dragons behind boulder giggled at his rude and hurtful comments. I got up and tried to walk around them but then boulder suddenly stuck his foot out making me trip i growled but silently and then boulder yelled from behind “Look the little prince is scared to fight!” i growled again and turned towards him as the dragons gathered around cheering fight and some oooooo at the sudden mood swing of error. Boulder threw himself at error but error was smarter than any of the dragons there and having the advantage of them knowing nothing about him he jumped out of the way and clawed boulders face which made him go running to the nursery elders crying like a baby saying “Error tried to rip my face off!” i growled and shouted back “he started it and i did not (try) to rip his face off!” the elders picked me up by the wings and i went limp knowing there was nothing else i could do for getting in trouble for something i did not start i glanced at willow whitch was my one and only friend she made an sympathetic face at me and waved with an sorry expression. I sighed as the elders put me in an small crib like play area and i stayed there happy not to be bothered by anyone else he knew this was the punishment room but it didn’t seem to him he liked being alone and not have to avoid boulder and other bullies that teased and ganged up on him. He opened his claws making a small bright orb of grayish light appear in his hand to keep him from not being bored he tossed it around and then threw it at the wall making a soft echo up the metal that was carved so elegantly.
