It is a very complicated process for example you must be a natural born citizen,which means the person must have been born in the United States. Additionally, the person must be at least thirty–five years old and must have lived in the United States for at least fourteen years. For example if you were born in Italy you would have to take a test to see if you are considered a United States citizen if you pass then they have a ceremony and they congratulate you on becoming a United States citizen . Then you must live in the United States for fourteen years. And Finally you can run for president .
Before you can become president it is very helpful to understand the roles of political parties for example the democratic and the republican parties. It is very difficult to be to be the president if you don’t have political party helping you. Each major party holds a national convention.
If you do your research you will see what of a ride you’re into.In 2008 Hilary vs Obama were seeing who is on the demarcate party and for the Republican party it was Mitt Romney vs. John McCain.In the end they tried their best but Barack Obama was on top of his game and become President of United States .
