Livestock  Almost 70 percent of  pennsylvania’s agricultural income is from crops.

Chicken, eggs, and hogs are also valuable  livestock. Pennsylvania  is egg producing state.

Some turkey’s are raised in the state and there is some activity in aquaculture and in raising sheep and lambs.                                                                                          

Beef and cattle are second in the states products in this sector.

 

Crops  Are plants we eat. Crops greenhouse and nursery products are the biggest revenue.  9 percent of agricultural income comes from greenhouses and nurseries.

 

Mushrooms rank second with 8 percent of pennsylvania  agricultural

 

Corn, grain,hay and soybean crops are very important to the state’s agricultural economy. Other crop in state are wheat tobacco and oats.

William, you taught me something I did not know! I am an elementary school teacher in Arizona. In Arizona, our big agricultural income also comes from livestock (cattle) and crops (lettuce, dairy, cotton and hay).
