The students read:  The Bailey School Kids:  Vampires Don’t Wear Polka Dots.  The students were to either add an additional chapter or re-write the ending of the book.

In the Magic Tree House:  Pirates Past Noon, the students were to create a pirate’s map around the story’s structure.
