Sprinkles Has Left the Building

Sprinkles was called to duty on Thursday before Christmas.  Mrs. Schrantz brought in an urgent envelop from SC’s Adviser stating:

December 20, 2018

Sprinkles,

I hope this letter finds you well.  This is urgent.  S.C.  needs you at the North Pole lickity split.  I am so sorry to cut your vacation short.  But it is of the upmost importance for you to return NOW!  Please tell the children we are so sorry.  However, this can not be avoided.  Please pack your box up quickly and don’t forget Donner, because he is also needed immediately.

I hope to see you so soon,

S.C.’s  Adviser

It was typed in red and green.  He left about 2:30, during math.  He had to take his box, his blanket, and Donner.  And he had been so busy all day playing in the room.  He hung upside down from his trapeze, climbed my symbol, flew his plane one last time.  and more.  He will be missed.

Look What a Student Made for Him

He and Donner are all comfy cozy in a different box that they chose.  Sprinkles is sporting a beautiful blanket made by our talented Kenzie.  He absolutely loves it!

On My!

I think they were playing follow the leader.

Even elves and reindeer must take baths.

Sprinkle Needs to Join the Circus

Look where I found him this morning?

This is one strong elf.  He made himself a jungle gym.  Donner was far away.  He was no way going to tackle that activity.

I wonder what my students will think.

Sprinkles Has a New Friend

Lilly, from 6th grade, gave Sprinkles a friend to play with when the classroom is empty.  Donner can be touched by bare hands.  He won’t lose his magic.  They were a tad bit busy this weekend.

We had glitter and snowflakes every where.  On Friday, we got a letter from Mrs. S.C.

The children were to plant peppermint candy in to sugar and then in a couple days something magical would grow and it did!  Oodles and oodles of candy canes.

He tried going home with Mary, but Alexis found him.

He hid in the puppets, but Cowen found him.  Can you see his little red and white striped hat?

Look how careful everyone is with touching Sprinkles.  So respectful.  I am so proud of all of my students.

Sprinkles Can Fly?!

Today, we found Sprinkles high up in our classroom sky flying a plane.  Clever elf he is.

He looked pretty at ease up there until…

He left us a note in the morning on our board….

He must be a very young elf because he spelled exhausted and fight wrong.  He also left us some wonderful paintings.  Yes, he got in to my paints! YIKES! not too much of a mess.

Sprinkles Strength is AMAZING!

He was bow climbing all over our place all day.  He had to be so tired. Poor thing.  Like he wrote us before…Our room makes a great playground.

Sprinklesmania

Well, well, well.  Sprinkles had a very busy weekend.  He wrote about 2 bazillion happy notes to us on sticky notes and stuck them up all over the room.  He had happy faces on them, XOXO, musical notes, Santa, Dec. 25, and so on.  Then, he hid in a teeny tiny bookshelf where Bryson found him.  Phew.

Later, he got himself stuck in a candy jar.  Our board read; Help me I’m stuck! Apparently he was wanting some Smarties’ sugar.  Silly Elf.  Dante found him and let Ava place him back in his home.

On Friday, December 7th, that Sprinkles was so silly.  He made a “Sprinkle Angel” on one of our tables.  Candy sprinkles everywhere!  He wrote us a letter and hung a festive swing up from our ceiling.  The students were giving him little pushes to keep him entertained.  Then. later we found a ship mobile hanging from our TV.  WHAT?  Did he make that too?  Elves are known to make toys.  My what a talented elf we have.  Also, he spelled out I love Santa with Smarties.  I think I am going to have to hide my smarties or buy some more.

Sprinkles Goes Zip-lining

When the students came in the room, they looked up and saw Sprinkles literally hanging out.

Sprinkles wrote them another letter.  It was really hard to read.  He needs some writing lessons.  The note read; The chip was yummy.  But I don’t eat paper food.  I eat real food especially sugar.  So I am returning the paper treat.  Love Sprinkles, PS WEEEEEEE Zip-lining is fun!

Then, while we were at our concert, Sprinkles did some more zip-lining.  When we came in he was just hanging around our cubby area.  I think he is part Spider-man.  Then when we went to lunch and special, he made it to the end of his zip-line by our door.   He was exhausted.  My math students took him down and let him rest in his little room while they did their work.  Very busy day for Sprinkles.

The students are leaving him pictures and letters.  Arianna colored this picture for him.  What a full day.  I hope he is having some r & r time.
