In the news story called Should Students Wear Uniforms, two students that are best friends say whether or not they should wear uniforms. I think students shouldn’t wear uniforms.

The first reason is that you don’t get to see what they look like. For example, I would wear uniforms. Only if they look like yandere uniforms. If a student thinks to themself that the uniform is going to look awesome. And they finally get their uniforms. And it’s ugly. They may not be happy. My second reason is that they take away your sense of style. Some people might want to wear their favorite clothes and when they wear uniforms, they don’t to wear it. And my final reason is that their will be more bullying. When wearing uniforms, people might bully them because of the way their uniform looks.

On the other hand, people say that uniforms might be great. Uniforms might help cut down on being late for class. And might cut down on bullying. Yes that’s good but, there’s many things wrong with wearing uniforms. Yeah, it cuts down on being late it says. But truth be told, it doesn’t do anything about that. I might be a student who does her make-up. And that could take a while. The ways the students dress without uniforms might be fading away. If they don’t show the way they dress, they might say stuff that isn’t nice.

Students shouldn’t wear uniforms because it wouldn’t have a good effect on the students.

The major reason for all the seasons is because of the axis.

For winter, our part of earth is tilted away from the sun, while the southern part is facing towards the sun. When it comes to summer, we are closer to the sun while the other part is further away. But, since we are away from the sun in the winter, we get longer periods of the day. But, during the summer, it’s shorter than the winter periods.

During the fall and the spring, we are medium lengths away from the sun. Which means that we might get longer days. It takes the sun’s rays longer to reach the earth. But, during the summer, it will take a shorter amount of time since it is Closer to the sun. But the winter, it takes a longer amount of time for the sun to reach our planet because we are further away from the sun.

So, since the axis that the world is sitting on is tilting, the seasons that we now are born.

I just read Extreme Selfies in the Scope Action. I think that some areas where people take selfies are really dangerous. Here is a summary of the article.

The article Extreme Selfies is about how some people take selfies in dangerous places. It said that some places have no selfie places. Some places even have bans. They banned selfies. They also said that they made a app called safeties. The app would vibrate to let you know that you hit a dangerous spot to take selfies. “Last year, 127 people died taking selfies.” This sentence shows that some spots can be dangerous. Someone got hit by a train.

Hello people on the blog! Today, I will be telling you my favorite parts of the book, Call It Courage. Along with the parts that I dislike.

First off, I like how the story is kinda dark. What I mean by that is some parts of the story can be kind of scary for some people. For example, at the start of the story. We all meet Mafatu, “The Boy That Is Afraid” as he’s called by his folks at the island. Why is he called that you might be wondering. Well, he is scared of the sea. Why is he scared of the sea? His mom’s was killed by the sea.

Second, he almost got killed while he was on his voyage. He got thrown onto an island that he doesn’t know. It’s only him and his dog that was on that island.

Finally, things I majorly dislike. What thing do I dislike? Well, the one thing I dislike is that they didn’t give that much on how his mother died. Yah it said that she went underwater with her son in her arms along with sharks around her.

What I have gathered from the cover and the back cover is that a boy who is 15 goes out a mission to show that he can put up with how he was treated. I predict that the young boy goes out to the sea with his dog, and goes and face his fears. He was blamed for the storms. He was teased and taunted. He thinks that he is an outsider to his tribe. His tribe worship courage. Since he goes on the journey by himself and his dog. He might learn somethings on that trip. That is my prediction and I hope this book is good.

Silent Reading Book- Harry Potter And The Cursed Child

The book I read yesterday (March 26, 2018) is Harry Potter And The Cursed Child. This Harry Potter book comes in a form of a play. The page I got up was page 72. In the beginning, It talks about Harry and his wife named Ginny, taking their kids to platform 9 and ¾ . Their kids names are: Albus Severus,James Sirius, and Lily Luna. Albus and James are going to Hogwarts while Lily goes the next year. Ron and Hermione’s kid, Rose, sat with Albus and Draco Malfoy’s kid. Draco’s childs name is Scorpius. Scorpius has a lot of rumors about him being the child of the Dark Lord, Voldemort. They get to Hogwarts and it’s time for the Sorting Hat to sort the first year. Albus and Scorpius are both sorted into Slytherin. (The house I’m in is Ravenclaw.) Each house has different character traits that the wizard or witch has. On their way to the common room, people make fun of Scorpius. Then they have flying lessons. Everyone but Albus broom comes into his hand. It’s the next year, Albus starts getting mad at his dad. Harry gives Albus a blanket that he had when he was little before or after his parents had gotten killed. (Harry was told that his parents died in a car crash. But they were killed by the Dark Lord.)  Ron, one of Harry’s best friends, gave Albus a love potion. Albus threw the blanket and the love potion got all over it. Albus and Scorpius escape the train and jumped off. They go meet Delphi’s uncle, Amos Diggory. Delphi makes a polyjuice potion. That’s a potion that can change you into someone or something that you want. They snuck into Hermione’s office to find a time turner. A Time Turner is a necklace that can take you back into time. That’s how far I got up to in the book. And that play script is actually used for the play that is played in Broadway. I think that the book is really good. You get to see what it looks like after 19 years and after the wizarding war.

My opinion on The Watson’s Go To Birmingham Book Vs Movie

    I just watched the movie, The Watsons Go to Birmingham. I also read the book too. In my opinion, I think the book was better than the movie. The movie had left out a lot of things the book had. For example, the movie, it didn’t have Rufus, Kenny’s best friend. They didn’t add LJ. The movie showed the Watsons go to a diner and get rejected because that diner only served white folks. One thing I did like about the movie was the fact that instead of Kenny not wearing glasses as it said in the book. In the movie, Kenny had glasses. I have a couple of questions about the movie though. My first question, why did they make Momma not cover her mouth every time she laughed? Well, in the book, it said that Momma covered her mouth because she had a hole in her teeth. My second question, why did they choose the actors they did? Well, I do know in order to get a part in a movie, you have to audition. They were good enough to be in the movie. That is why I think the book was better than the movie.

I just read an article called, “Is This Guy Trying To Sell You Something?”  I think that the company is trying to sell their products. I say this because the company always is trying to persuade people to sponsor their videos, photos, twitter posts, Instagram post, etc.  On the first page, it said, “Last year she posted a photo of herself in a pair of jeans. She wrote, ‘Obsessed with my new @fashionnova jeans.’” Kylie Jenner was showing off and trying to get her fans to like her jeans so the company can get more sells and money. Stephen Curry posted a photo with him signing his name on a wall. He put #Sponsored at the end of his post. Maybe he was trying to have people want to buy the headphones that the company was making. A lot of people would want to know where their favorite media star eats, hangs out, who they date, etc. Dove Cameron, who plays in Disney Channel, was maybe sponsored by 5 Star Note Book. Youtubers often get sponsored by companies like Amazon. A lot of companies are sponsored by makeup companies. There is this one youtuber, he plays a game. That’s what his channel is mainly about. He sometimes is sponsored. The person who made the game doesn’t want to sponsor anyone because the game that he is making isn’t complete. Some superstars got a warning about being sponsored. They posted everything that they did, hung out, etc. In what I have said, I think it’s the companies that is telling the people to sponsor their channel.
