The Puzzler

Our enrichment classes have been having fun using our critical thinking and problem solving skills and strategies to solve a weekly “Puzzler”.  We have come up with many strategies to help us, specifically with word the word puzzlers we call, “Quotation Quizzlers”.  The puzzles require us to use visual/spatial skills as well as process of elimination, identifying common letter partners, and auditory clues.  Following our solutions we engage in discussion about the quotation’s meaning and its’ author.  Here are the two we most recently solved:

“If you don’t like something, change it.  If you can’t change it, change your attitude.” ~Maya Angelou

“Always remember that you are absolutely unique.  Just like everyone else.” ~Margaret Meade
