The Strange Egg
Connor was watching cartoons when he heard a loud banging at the door. He rushed to see who it was and was surprised to see his best friend Malcolm with a package in his hands. “ What’s the package for?” I ask with a weird croak in my voice. I cough it out. “ Don’t know how about we find out,” he said “ It was supposed to be to you but got mailed to me.” “ Well come on in let’s check it out,” I say with excitement. We open it up to find that there is an unusually large egg that looked to be at least 4-5 inches tall. It had a base color of purple and blue spots all over it. “ Well that’s a weird egg.” Malcolm said with a weird sort of curiousness to his voice, “ Hey should I go and see if I can sleep over tonight? So we can investigate more.” “ Ummmmmm ya go do that, and I’ll hide this from my mom and dad.” Okay, should I bring my older brother Joe over he’s only one year older and knows how to keep a secret.” “Got it that’s ok.” A half hour later Malcolm, Joe and I were sitting in my room watching TV and a weird egg.
All of the sudden the ground shook and the egg hatched. We stepped back and a creator that looked like a snake with wings It was flying around the room like maniac and BREATHING FIRE. So we then thought well, water defeats fire so we threw water on the beast and it seemed to weaken. We then splashed it with water and the beast was unconscious for one hour. The creator woke with a roar and found himself in a small cup of water. “ That’ll keep him from light’n up the house.” says Joe with a smirk. One week later the creator was begging to become quite fond of us. We started to train him soon we had a 6 foot long snake with wings and could breath fire, HIDING in our house. After five months we let the beast go. It flew far away into the distance and came to visit for weekends. And that was the story of me and my wild adventure.
I wish you said what you and Malcolm were watching on TV and what you did with the snake looking thing and if you gave it a name.
Great idea.I will add that to some of my future passages.
