My Famous Saying
December 7, 2016
I disagree with Ben Franklin’s famous saying: An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Well, we’ll still need checkups, right? I say: A doctor a day won’t keep the apple away. ):
What do you think? If you like it, or have your own saying, please comment on it. If not, my feelings aren’t hurt. Just be nice about it.
I think that is true. Also I eat apples and still get sick.A doctor a day won’t keep the doctor away was a little confusing. Why is it apples and nothing else?please visit my blog at http://blog.elanco.org/maldonej/2016/12/23/sweet-land-part-1-the-sweet-storm-arrivesbased-on-cloudy-and-a-chance-of-meatballs/
Thank you
Very true Mae!! Check-ups are very important!
Hi Mae,
I agree with you, an apple a day does not keep the doctor away.
I really liked your version too, I thought it was pretty funny

Hi Mae,
I also agree that an apple a day doesn’t keep the doctor away.Ben Franklin might have been saying that because he wanted you to eat apples and fruits.

Hello Mae,
I also agree that an apple away won’t keep the doctor away. Ben Franklin just said because people need to eat fruits and vegetable every day. Also its just a saying that people used to use in the olden days so that their children would eat that food and not throw it away.
